It’s nice to see a return to the original X-Men with a modern flare and Parker does a good job with giving them personalities (although the main effort is obviously with the class clown, Iceman) and tells some fun stories. They include fighting Sentinels, Man-Thing, Hydra, Lava Men, and aliens. I definitely recommend this series (these are the second and third volumes) to younger readers mainly, although there is enough inside jokes for the veteran readers to get a kick out of.
