It’s not very good. The show attempts to retell the history of King Arthur starting from his early, prince, years. The realm is ruled by Arthur’s father, Uther Pendragon, who has outlawed all magic; Arthur himself is a twit and in love with Morgana who is a ward of the state. Guinevere is in love with Merlin (and she’s black… and a servant… to Morgana). Merlin himself is a bit of a bumbler, forced to keep his magic secret, all the while protecting Arthur–BTW Merlin is Arthur’s servant. I want it all to work, sadly, you can’t always get what you want. There was a Game of Thrones-ish rip-off very of a young Arthur also, but I’m pretty sure that, and this, show have been canceled.

It seems like most of SyFy is vomit-worthy.
