Congratulation Republicans!

Congratulation Republicans! You overwhelmingly took back Governorships, the House, AND THE SENATE (you already have the Supreme Court). By embracing and incorporating a fringe movement, working lock-step within party platform of being rigid and uncompromising regardless of the issue, and your willingness to accept money from any sources and use whatever tactics necessary to win, you have shown the people that they must hate and distrust their government (except for you Republicans as you are the exception). Your win includes all aspects of the government as the Democrats long to be Republicans. They refuse to follow their own platforms, vehemently decry any outsider movements, constantly attempt to kow-tow to Republican demands (especially in the south and midwest), and are willing to do anything just to contend for the same sources of money as the Republicans have. Your win is a win for dogmatic intransigents and manipulation of the ignorant for the sake of your masters: the richest 1% of the country that controls most of its wealth. Meanwhile, the Democrats loss is one they have earned through years of cowardliness and self-destructive actions/inactions. You deserved to win as you are a hive mentality. And Democrats deserve to loss because you have no idea what they even want to be.

Am I looking at the wrong results for the Senate? It seems we have at least 49 Dems and 2 Indies who side with Dems, supposedly, with three more seats still undecided, but giving Dems+Indies a 51 vote majority.

Other than that, I agree that the Dems, as a whole, are sadly a spineless bunch, as Cej tells us and that we’re all fucked for it. It’s funny how two years ago there was a great sense of relief for me, but now that’s lost. Hell, I think I lost it last year when my VA governor went from a Dem to a Rep and now this has happened in PA.

Apparently stopping abortions is more important than being paid a living wage.

Despite Dems lack of action these past two years, I didn’t hope for voter reprisals. This makes me think that people need to rethink their outlooks on politics, many seemingly thinking there are short term solutions for many problems that have essentially existed for decades if not centuries and millennia (referring to class issues and perhaps more).

Maybe Obama should pull out the FDR threat of increasing the number of Supreme Court justices and filling those seats with his choices. That might give us something.

    Dem Fail.

Do your math again, but this time realize that since so many Democrats and Independents vote with Republicans, it gives them the majority in reality.

So you should have said that in the first place.
